Here I was, trapped between Dorothy and Alice on the left and Ruby on the right ... all sleeping peacefully. I didn't dare get up, or I would have disturbed them. So I continued to sit with my laptop in what little remained of my lap, checking in on whatever was happening in the Cyber World.
Storms came through last night, and the heat wave here has passed for now. Today is a beautiful day to continue the battle with the weeds. Wish me luck.

Yes, a great day for weed control. The soil has been softened by the rain, so those weeds should come out quite easily. Have fun.
You are loved, that's for sure. Have a good day. It's been cool (low 80's) here the past few days which I will take any day of the week. I know we will have more 100's this summer so I want to hold onto this as long as possible.
We had a terrific rain, wind and lightning storm here in Roanoke.... didn't lat more than about 10 minutes and was gone again. The pups ended up right next to us a for a while. Love this photo today!

As my Mother in Law would have said, Sister....I do wish you luck....its a hard world out there! Fighting the same battle here, seems everything I pull in one area an entirely different area multiplies 3 fold. I had a customer this am and she says I don't even see the weeds for the beautiful roses! I thanked her! Good luck~
